The AI Playbook / Free / About 8 minutes
Find the work AI should do for you first.
Tell us what you do and tap through a few questions about your week. You get a playbook with your top three workflows, prompts you can paste today, and the steps to turn each one into an agent.
It runs RE+SHAPE, the method behind The AI Playbook: find the real work first, then decide what AI should do with it.
Most AI projects stall before they pay off.
A preliminary 2025 MIT NANDA report, drawing on interviews with 52 organizations and a survey of 153 leaders, found that just 5% of integrated AI pilots were extracting millions in value, while most showed no measurable P&L impact. Its authors attribute the gap to tools that don't learn or integrate well into workflows, not to model quality.
In a 2025 survey of 1,150 U.S. full-time employees by BetterUp Labs and the Stanford Social Media Lab, 40% said they had received AI-generated "workslop" in the past month, and they reported spending an average of 1 hour 56 minutes dealing with each instance.
The hardest part of AI isn't the AI. It's knowing what to point it at. Start with one piece of real work, do it by hand with AI, and only then automate it.
